Flower Preservation Deposit
Preserve your fresh or dried flowers in beautiful custom pieces that last.
This is a deposit to secure your date and will go towards your order total. Please note that this listing is for your flowers to be preserved and you are responsible for shipping the flowers to me.
Step 1: Check your date
Please fill out the form here before purchasing the deposit to check if your date (if applicable) is available. If your flowers are already dry, we would still love to work with you! Just leave us a note in the form mentioned above and leave the date blank. Already dry flowers will only fit in certain pieces, as they will not work for items that need pressed flowers such as trays, coasters, trinket trays, etc.
Step 2: Download Flower Instructions
After purchasing the deposit, download the instructions which will outline how to ship your flowers as well as other important information. Please reach out if you have any trouble.
Step 3: Message a Final Item List/ Final Payment
Prior to shipping your flowers, we will need a final list of the items you would like made. We will email you a listing for the order total (minus your $100 deposit), which includes the fee for shipping the final pieces back to you. Payment is due prior to shipping your flowers to me.
Please let me know if you would like any other inclusions in your piece, such as a black or white background, foil flakes (available in gold, silver or copper), or other inclusions prior to shipping your flowers.
Other Information
If your flowers are fresh, you will need to overnight ship them within 72 hours of your event (wedding, funeral, baby shower, etc.) If you would like a shipping estimate please reach out and I will do my best to help. Overnight shipping (depending on the carrier and your location) can cost anywhere from $50-$250+. If you are local, we do have some drop-off options for you.
These items take between 5-10 weeks from receiving your flowers to shipping out your final pieces. The long processing time is due to the drying time of flowers as well as the pouring process and drying time of resin.
NOTE: Flowers may change color/ tone after going through the preservation process. Often reds/purples/pinks will deepen (for example red becomes burgundy and pinks sometimes become purple), and whites may show some yellow/green tones. This will depend on the individual flower types.
Due to the nature of resin, small bubbles and minor imperfections may occur in the pouring and drying process. I do my best to get rid of them, but it is not always possible. Resin does tend to yellow over time with prolonged sun exposure. I recommend keeping pieces out of direct sunlight as much as possible. I use a resin with a high UV resistance. However, the less sun exposure, the longer your piece will keep from yellowing.
